About Me
Bio:
This is my second year to teach in Gibson County. Last year I was at Gibson County High School, but this year I will be dividing my time between GCHS and the newly-opened South Gibson County High School. I am originally from Jackson, TN, and graduated from South Side High School in 2003. I graduated from Union University in 2007 with a B.A. in History. I finished a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University in May 2009. I am currently working on a Doctorate in Education at Trevecca and am scheduled to graduate in May 2012.
I am also in my first year as head coach of the SGCHS Boys' and Girls' Soccer programs. I have 8 years of experience as a soccer player and was a member of Union University's 2003 NCCAA National Championship Men's Soccer Team. I was the assistant coach of Liberty Technology High School's Boys' Soccer team in 2007 and the assistant coach of Martin Middle School's Boys' Soccer team in 2008. Last year, I coached with the soccer teams at Gibson County High School and was named the District Coach of the Year during the fall of 2008.
I am eager to begin building a successful soccer program at SGCHS and to establish a winning tradition.
